Jess looked at kc and gave him a slight smiled and scooted over closer to him “don’t let them affect you, you did all you can do you apoligised if they  wont accep that its there loss because then they lost you” she smiled trying to make him feel better she hoped that it worked she thought it.  wasnt fair that they  didnt forgive him he said sorry “just forget about them” she smiled at him

KC drove down the road to Jess’s house. Itwas kind of out of his way, but he was happy about the long drive because it gave him time to think. He had gone to Jenna’s house that night with the intention of falling in love with her again. The only thing his visit did was solidify their breakup. And

Jess  hasnt seen kc in a while she was happy to sehim.she also needed an escape from her house with her parents fighting non stop a night out seemed exactly what she needeljess was finishing straightining her hair when she heard two honks. she turnedoff her straightner,  grabbed her purse and walked out to see kc in her driveway, she smiled when she saw him. “Hey kc

KC waited until Jess was securely inside the car before resuming his drive. “I hope you didn’t have high expectations of where we are going.Honestly at this point I have no idea. Ishould have put more thought into this, but my head is a bit jumbled right now.” KC sighed and kept his focus on the road. He wracked his brain, thinkingof places they could possibly go. “Well I have an idea of wherewe can go, but like I said, don’t get too excited.” He looked over at his passenger and smiled

Jess smiled at him “kcanywhere is fine  im sure it will be a great time no matter what we do” jess was happy to just get out of the house and spend time with kc since she hasnt seen him in awhile she giggled “so are you going to tell me your idea or is it a surprise?” she smirked at him while he started to back out of her driveway. 

KC slowed his car to a halt. “No need now, we’re here.” KC looked at the scenery through his windshield before exiting the car. Back before he was at the home, KC used to come here all the time to get away from his mom. The wooden bridge that stretched over the little stream looked real comforting to him. He wasn’t sure what Jess would feel about spending a saturday night playing in a creek like a five year old. But KC couldn’t wait. He walked to the other side of the car and opened the door for her to get out. “I used to come here a alot”He explained. “There’s hardly any cars that pass by here, we are prettyfar out from town. It’s peaceful”

jess got out of the car looked around and smiled big at kc “kc this is actually perfect” jess really needed an escape an escape from reality and this was it “its like no one can bother its quiet exactly what need right now” jess walked over to the bridge and looked over at the stream as the water was hitting the rocks. “How did you find this its like a little getaway from everything else” she grinned at him. Jess thought this was amazing no one would bother them it was so beautiful she could forget about her family drama and just have a great time with kc.

KC leaned against the rail of the wooden bridge and laughed “If I told you that, I’d have to kill you.” He smiled, happy she seemed to like this place. “So, I’m glad you are not one of the many girls who hate me. Its rare now days.” He decided to change the focus away from him, he didn’t want to talk about the people who hate him. “It seems like your a good kid. No drama, from what I’ve seen. No bad reputation. Must be nice.

Jess looked at him and giggled and wrinkled her nose “oh its a secret  i see how it is” she teased him then looked into his eyes “yeah.  i noticed  alot of girls.  arent to fond of you now a days any reason for that? she shrugged “I  dont listen to rumors.  i would prefer to find for myself and you  havent given me a reason not to like you so here we are” she smiled at him “yeah for the most part, highschool drama can be tiring and like to get along with most people unless they give me a reason not to but.  i.  dont like to start anything for no reason” she smiled at him and supported herself up on the railing and looked down at the water.
